Lost your Indian Passport

No need to worry. Simply go to your nearest county police office and report the loss. The police will issue a report that you share with us with the rest of your documents; and we will apply a fresh passport for you.

Passport needed for your Asylum hearing

Prepare in advance. In this case, your application could take anything between 2-3 months. Get in touch with us to prepare your application for reissuing a fresh passport.

Tatkal Passport

Within 4-5 days once we get all the documents. Applicants undergoing asylum process are not eligible for a Tatkal passport. Call us or leave your number in the contact us; and we will coordinate your documents pickup and further processing.

“Once your passport crosses the nine-year mark, it is time to get new passport”. You cannot travel if your passport is valid only for less than 6 months.

Surrender Indian Passport

Once you have obtained your American passport; you cannot use your Indian passport for travel to India. You need to surrender(cancel) your Indian passport. Passport Expired/About to Expire

Using Indian Passport after Naturalization

The Indian government provides a 90-day (3-month) grace period for newly naturalized foreign citizens. This means you can use your Indian passport for travel within this 90-day window. However, you must surrender your Indian passport during this time and apply for a Surrender Certificate. If you do not surrender your Indian passport during this 90 day window, you are very likely to face issues with your OCI/Visa applications in future.
